ABOUT

Tristan Meyer is an Associate practising in the commercial areas of Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, Property & Real Estate, and Data Privacy and Cybercrime. He specializes in mergers & acquisitions; corporate structuring, restructuring, and reorganisation; takeovers, and general commercial transactions. Tristan also advises on the sale of businesses as going concerns; sale of share transactions; sale of property transactions; and the drafting of various commercial agreements. Tristan furthermore advises on various aspects of data privacy, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 and other areas of regulatory law such as consumer protection. He obtained his BSocSci and LLB degrees from the University of Cape Town, where he was on the Dean’s Merit List.
