ABOUT

Mohini Karappian is an Associate in the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions and Infrastructure & Energy practice areas. She holds an LLB from the University of Cape Town. She has experience in various aspects of banking and finance transactions including, the restructure of financially constrained and/or distressed companies, asset finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, project finance, preference share transactions and solvent corporate debt restructuring. She has also worked on a wide array of commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, shareholder arrangements, and management participation. In addition to Mohini’s experience in the banking and finance and corporate mergers and acquisitions sphere, she has been involved in arbitrations as well as assisting in editing the LEX Africa Guide to the Enforcement of Foreign Money Judgments and Arbitral Awards in Africa.
