  • Acted for the lenders to Bounty Brands Proprietary Limited in relation to a restructuring of the businesses and related debt and quasi-equity.
  • Acts for a variety of financial institutions and South African banks (including FirstRand Bank Limited, Nedbank Limited, The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited, Investec Bank Limited and ABSA Bank Limited) regularly in relation to the provision of debt and preference share funding to borrowers and issuers.
  • Acts for  a variety of borrowers in various industries in relation to their relevant structuring and debt requirements such as Africa Data Centres Proprietary Limited, Royal Bafokeng Holdings Proprietary Limited, Liquid Telecommunications Proprietary Limited, Onelogix Limited and others. 
  • Regularly advises Liquid Telecommunications South Africa Limited and related entities (including Africa Data Centres Proprietary Limited) in relation to their funding transactions, which includes the ZAR18 million secured Euro bond, funding facilities relating to the roll out of both lit and dark fibre in project finance facilities (circa R3 billion) and acquisition funding for a variety of purposes.
  • Advising a syndicate of South African financial institutions in relation to the refinancing of Vumatel Proprietary Limited and Dark Fibre Africa Proprietary Limited's debt (circa ZAR26 billion).
  • Advising financial institutions in relation to various funding instruments to a variety of telecommunications service providers (such as Vodacom Proprietary Limited and Comsol Networks Proprietary Limited).
