Director Ernest Mazansky is Head of the Tax practice area. He specialises in corporate tax planning; restructuring of corporate entities; share incentive schemes; dispute resolution/tax controversy; offshore structures & financing; exchange control; VAT; estate planning; and wills & trusts (local and international). Ernest is past chairman of the Taxation Committee of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants; Chairman of the Institute’s Exchange Control Committee; and South African correspondent for the Bulletin for International Taxation, published by the IBFD. He is named as a pre-eminent practitioner in Euromoney’s Guide to the World’s Leading Tax Advisers (2008 and 2018).
