ABOUT

Senior Associate Derek Alexander advises in the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions practice area. He won numerous academic awards from the University of Johannesburg during 2013, and was valedictorian of the 2013 LLB class. Derek was also presented with an award by the Gauteng Law Council for the Top Final Year LLB Student at the University of Johannesburg (2013). He is co-author of a number of key articles, including the South African Chapter of Directors’ Liability: A Worldwide Review Third Edition, International Bar Association Series, Volume 22, and “The significance of the seat”, an article published in Without Prejudice (August 2014).
