Bulelwa is  doting wife and mother of four. Bulelwa is an avid traveller, a keen lover of African literature, a failed violinist and a lover of live jazz and classical music. Bulelwa is the first black female home-grown director having been appointed as a partner at the age of 28. Bulelwa has been with Werksmans for over 16 years and has grown and solidified a practice and a reputation as a notable lawyer around land reform, land restitution, tenure reform, tenders and procurement, general commercial litigation and constitutional law, having acted for banks, mines, communities, landowners and claimants in various leading and precedent-setting cases. Bulelwa's area of passion and interest has been the balancing act that is required to be taken in section 25 of the Constitution, 1996. Bulelwa's work and opinions on land and land reform has been extensively published on all media platforms for a number of years.
