Anele Ngidi is a Director in the Healthcare & Life Sciences practice area, specialising in health, pharmaceutical and life sciences law. She advises on a range of matters, including those related to provisions of the Promotion of Access to Information Act and the Promotion of Administrative Justice Act; and compliance with healthcare legislation including the National Health Act and the Medicines & Related Substances Act. Anele contributed to “Analysis of domestic violence legislation: review of domestic violence laws” research content in the South Africa-specific chapter of a comparative law study entitled “A Landscape Analysis of Domestic Violence Laws” (2013).

    • The study was prepared via the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s TrustLaw Connect for Beijing Fanbao (Anti-Domestic Violence Network), an alliance focusing on domestic violence against women in China. 
    • It will be used to support Beijing Fanbao’s anti-domestic violence advocacy efforts to reform anti-domestic violence legislation in China.
