Anton Myburgh SC represented the applicants, Assign Services, in the matter.


Anton Myburgh SC is an advocate and senior counsel at the Johannesburg Bar. He has appeared as counsel in an array of leading labour law cases, including several cases in the Constitutional Court. He has acted as a judge of the Labour Court on multiple occasions. He is the co-author of Reviews in the Labour Courts, and has published numerous articles in the Industrial Law Journal and other well know labour law publications. Anton is an honorary member of SASLAW, having served two terms as its national president, and is currently a member of the rules board for the Labour Courts and an adjunct professor of law at Nelson Mandela University. He also appears regularly as counsel in Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland.
