Derek Rabin

Derek Rabin is well known as a corporate lawyer with significant M&A experience. He has represented global multinationals and many listed and foreign corporations. He is often requested to specifically be involved in the negotiations and strategy regarding corporate transactions.

He has served as chairman of the South African operations of a major multinational, and chairman and non-executive director of a number of South African listed companies. Derek also served as Chairman of the Advisory Group of a major South African private equity group listed on the Luxembourg and South African stock exchanges.

Derek has also served as chairman of the International Lawyers Group (ILG) of which he remains a member of the Executive Committee and was previously, chairman of a large South African Law firm.
